About Participatory Welfare Services (PWS)
Participatory Welfare Services is a non-profit, non-governmental and non-political developmental organization struggling to aware, organize and mobilize the people of Layyah for the realization of their developmental and basic human rights.
The PWS was registered under Voluntary Social Welfare Agency Ordinance 1961 on September 8, 1994. Started as a self-financed initiative taken by a group of volunteers, the Pakistan Social Welfare is active in the different socio-economic spheres of the Layyah society in association with partners at local and national levels.
Our work focuses on the rural poor in Pakistan with a particular emphasis on gender and poverty alleviation and has a mix of advocacy and service delivery programs relevant to the community. The thematic areas we work include..
